Community Bank Neerim District

Neerim District Community Bank is dedicated to contributing the majority of its funds in cash and kind to support activities and organisations that serve the residents of the Neerim District.

We strive for a flourishing, healthy and united Neerim District by collaborating with and supporting activities and organisations that serve the residents of the area. We support the equitable provision of services and activities in the community.

Community Bank Neerim District ensures all supported activities are evaluated and conducted on the basis of fairness and equality for all.

Profits are returned to the community that has generated them in the form of grants, scholarships, and a young achiever award.

Before you start

Before you begin make sure you have:

  • Your organisation's administration & contact details.
  • All the project details.
  • Your project budget.
  • Project partner details (if applicable).
  • Supporting documents for upload (quotes, project plans and/or similar).

Community Investment

Grants

Open from 1 September to 30 October

Any community, sporting or not-for-profit organisation that is either located in or serves the Neerim District can apply for a community grant.

Applications can be for improved infrastructure, facilities or equipment that serve the community, and support for services, culture, or sport that will help provide improved longer-term community engagement.

Scholarships

Open from 1 November to 30 January

The scholarship program aims to assist academically motivated students from Neerim District who have been offered a place at an Australian University, TAFE Institute or College.

Eligible applicants need to be in their first year of tertiary study and are experiencing challenging circumstances.

Young Achiever award

Open from 1 November to 30 January

The Bill Cumming Young Achiever Award is for young people between 15 and 25 who live in the Neerim District.

A teacher, coach, mentor, community group or representative of a community group can nominate a young person they think has shown outstanding achievements. This can be in any field like arts, sports, academics and more.
