Community Bank Neerim District

Community Bank Neerim District is dedicated to contributing the majority of its funds in cash and kind to support activities and organisations that serve the residents of the Neerim District.

We strive for a flourishing, healthy and united Neerim District by collaborating with and supporting activities and organisations that serve the residents of the area. We support the equitable provision of services and activities in the community.

Community Bank Neerim District ensures all supported activities are evaluated and conducted on the basis of fairness and equality for all.

Our community investment funding is made possible by the profit generated from banking services provided at our branch.

Community Investment Funding

Grants

Any community, sporting or not-for-profit organisation that is either located in or serves the Neerim District can apply for a community grant.

Applications can be for improved infrastructure, facilities or equipment that serve the community, and support for services, culture, or sport that will help provide improved longer-term community engagement.

Grant applications are open from 1 September to 31 October 2025. Please note that in 2026, grant applications will open from 1 April to 31 May.

 

Sponsorships

We sponsor events and organisations to provide support to community initiatives in return for brand recognition.

Sponsorships are open all year round and applications must be submitted at least eight (8) weeks before the funds are required. Sponsorship funding limits apply, please view our sponsorship guidelines for more details.

 

Tertiary Scholarships

The Beth Delzoppo Scholarship Program aims to assist academically motivated students from Neerim District who have been offered a place at an Australian University, TAFE Institute or College.

Eligible applicants need to be in their first year of tertiary study and experiencing challenging circumstances.

Beth Delzoppo Scholarship applications are open from 1 November to 31 January each year.

 

Young Achiever Award

The Bill Cumming Young Achiever Award is for young people aged between 15 and 25 who live in the Neerim District.

A teacher, coach, mentor, community group or representative of a community group can nominate a young person they think has shown outstanding achievements. This can be in any field like arts, sports, academics and more.

Bill Cumming Young Achiever Award applications are open from 1 November to 31 January each year.
